Home

Home.
A four letter word that makes someone happy, someone sad, someone angry or even sometimes makes someone cry!
What is the magic of this four letter word?Ever wondered?

You ask a 6 year old boy, to him home means a place full of toys, a place full of love, a place where his parents live and treat him as best as they can. You get to see a pleasing smile on the face of a 6 year old when you ask him what is home to them. It is indeed a place where he can forget all his problems and be as cosy as he can without being judged or without the fear of teaching scolding too!

You ask someone who has seen disputes among his parents, or who has been a victim of some unfortunate event at home, or who has seen his family getting torn apart due to any reason may it be. For him, his  home is just a  place with four walls where he has no desire to go. To him,  the definition of home is a place where he finds peace, where he finds a place to be happy, to be loved and to be cared. To him home is not his parents or his siblings, it is that freeness which he never wants to get rid of,  it is that feeling of unboundness to everything and it is his go to place.

You ask an army officer what is home to him? Those tears that one can see dripping down his eyes makes one understand what is home to him. To him it is the place where his family resides, where he wants to go but is unable to. Home to him is a word that makes him sad, makes him cry, reason being his pledge towards the country- his first home. To him, home is a plural form of love- one for his family and one for the country.

Or simply, just go and ask an ill patient who is hospitalized. For him, home is the place where he is free from all the pain he is going through, a place where he can enjoy getting up from his bed and doing all the things he wants to, home is the place where he wants to get up every morning without any  fear of being pricked or being forced to do a thing.
To him, home is a word that makes him happy but at the same time, brings tears in his eyes to not being able to feel the warmth of that place.

Home is not a single place, it is a place or places where you find that warmth of being together, being safe and being contented despite of any circumstances.

A place for one to be happy,
A place for one to be loved,
A place for none to grieve,
A place for one to be free,
A place for one to call it your own zone,
Yes that is what you call your Home!
